Last week we were fortunate to have the clan from Peoria known as the Nolls (My sister Michelle, her husband John and kids - Kaylie -10, Zachary -7 and Joshua -1) come for a visit. All five braved the flight and held their collective breath that a certain little one handled the travelling well. From all reports and news accounts, the little lad performed pretty well under the pressure, if a bit fidgety along the way.
Amidst all of the relocation madness and trying to sell our house, we were able to have a wonderful time here in Denver and up in Summit County in the mountains. I think that Ethan was tremendously excited about the visit by his cousins and even managed to pick up some big-boy manerisms and habits from Zachary. And to think, we had finally gotten through to him that he is three, not ten. Now, he thinks he is ten again, and bigger than everyone. Ahh, well. No matter.
Monday morning's flight did come quite early though (left the house to go to the airport at 4:45 am - with three kids 10 and under!!)

PS - Thank you, once again, Michelle and John, for taking Ethan on Thursday night, allowing us to go to the Keane show. It was great for him and it was great for us.
